This course is designed for the rifle marksman operator and the individual
responsible for maintaining rifle accuracy of the sniper rifle. It
instructs operators on the functioning of the rifle as well as the repair,
maintenance, and accessories necessary for this specialized system. Even
if operators will be restricted from providing certain repair and
maintenance to this rifle, the course will prove valuable for their
knowledge and maintenance of this system. Students will be given the
opportunity to have their rifles thoroughly serviced and cleaned including
bolt disassembly, receiver bedding checked, barrels free floated, triggers
adjusted, and scopes properly mounted with lapping of the rings. Final
rifle zero is available on the range at the conclusion of the course
Course Content:
Rifle safety check and inspection
Rifle nomenclature and functioning
Rifle maintenance and cleaning
Trigger adjustment
Rifle scope mounting procedures and techniques
Rifle function test
Complete rifle disassembly (except barrel removal)
Rifle live fire test and zero
Stock bedding and barrel floating techniques
Tuition: $150.00 Per Person
Equipment Required: Scoped Rifle, Screwdriver set, allen head tool set, 1/8 and
1/16 punches, bench block, and small hammer. Other general armor tools if
available. Cleaning equipment, rifle scope and accessories for zeroing,
eye and ear protection. Instructors will provide all other tools and
equipment necessary for the class.

Instructor. 15 years FBI SWAT Sniper & Team Leader. FBI Certified Firearms Instructor.
